Isfahan University of Technology (IUT) is a young university located in the heart of industrial complexes provided an opportunity to strengthen industrial enhancement of our country. Pleasant environment in the province of Isfahan all year round has 
created an excellent atmosphere for agricultural productivity and university plays a major role in increasing productivity,research and development. During its 39 years of history, hard working faculty and administrators have turned this institution into a highly competitive learning and research institution that is well recognized both locally and internationally. IUT as an institution of higher education was established with the aim of satisfying the need to educate the youth in the central part of Islamic Republic of Iran, in service of its people, and in the advancement of knowledge. Currently, IUT has more than 9000 students of which about 4400 are involved in post graduate programs. IUT is comprised of the College of Agriculture and fourteen departments including  different branches of Engineering, Basic Sciences and Natural Resources. All of our departments encompass relevant areas of teaching and research. We are fortunate to attract high quality students from all over the country. Many of our graduates take part actively as managers or engineers in the advancement of Iran.
