Home to the nation’s largest academic program for polymer science and polymer engineering, The University of Akron also has earned national recognition in several other undergraduate and graduate degree programs, including law, engineering, nursing, counseling and industrial/occupational psychology. Serving 26,000 students, the university offers approximately 300 associate, bachelor's, master's, doctoral and law degree programs and 100 certificate programs at sites in Summit, Wayne, Holmes, Medina and Cuyahoga counties.
